We've re-engineered the CoB,O to make it easier and more enjoyable for us (and hopefully you) to visit the site. For awhile, both the old and new pages will run simultaneously, however the "old style" CoB,O won't be updated. Eventually the "old style" will disappear...

You can visit the new CoB,O at http://www.cobo.org/index.php

He said he had not seen or heard of most of them and, except for Jimmy Buffett and the Beach Boys, he was not much of a concert goer. Thanks to David Freeman

The mention is under the "Salt Cay" section. Thanks to Daren Sarver

On the Today show yesterday, Matt Lauer interviewed Carl Hiassan about his new book, Basket Case. One of the characters is a has-been rock star named Jimmy Stoma.  The band he fronted was called The Slut Puppies.  Lauer questions the similiarities between the book character and Jimmy Buffett (and Jimmy's Band, the Coral Reefers).  Haaisen immediately states there is no likeness; but to be safe he did get Jimmy to check over the book for accuracies about the music business, etc. and also got Jimmy's  help with some song lyrics used in the book. Warren Zevon also wrote a song that is in the publication. Thanks to Andy and Kelli Cronin

There's a link from the eBay ad to an index of those who signed--Jimmy's listed on July 16. Proceeds go to America's Second Harvest. Thanks to Andy
